Golf Course
St Pierre is a famous golfing venue boasting two great courses. The famous Old Course is recognised as one of the finest in the UK and has played host to the Solheim Cup and EuroPro Tour events. The course reaches a wonderful finale with the famous 18th hole on an elevated green, which has seen the climax to many an exciting professional tournament. The Mathern Course is a wonderful complement to the tougher Old Course. Opened in 1975 and designed by Bill Cox, this course gives you an opportunity to enjoy the peaceful Monmouthshire surroundings with a less severe test of golf.
Hotel Accomodation
Set in the rolling hills of South Wales and 400 acres of its own grounds, you drive through tree-lined fairways before entering into the historic courtyard of this graceful 14th century manor house. Through its majestic archway the hotel itself is a sympathetic blend of ancient and modern. The days will drift away as you laze in the gardens overlooking the ornamental 11 acre lake. The superb leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, spa bath and sauna, fully equipped gymnasium, steam room, tennis courts (floodlit) and a health & beauty suite.
