Golf Courses:

Bryn Meadows Golf Club is a picturesque parkland course built in 1973 and offers a markedly new challenge from every tee with no two holes the same. The championship course at Bryn Meadows measures 6156 yards with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Although not the longest course it presents a different challenge from every tee. The two signature holes at Bryn Meadows are the 13th, a 213 yard par 3 over water, and the 2nd, a fantastic par 5 measuring 561 yards with your 3rd shot over water and out of bounds to your right, not for those with a nervous disposition! Bryn Meadows is a course enjoyed by low and high handicappers alike and with its excellent reputation on the course and in the bars and restaurants it is a perfect venue for your company day.
Hotel Accommodation:

Awarded a Wales Tourist Board Gold Medal, this fantastic hotel has been in the Mayo family for two generations and prides itself on the high quality of service. Set in the heart of the Rhymney Valley, the classically styled hotel has amazing views as far as the Brecon Beacons. Most of the 42 recently refurbished en-suite rooms enjoy views over the golf course or the five valleys! All bedrooms come with the latest modern amenities including climate control, LCD televisions (in the rooms and bathrooms!), wireless internet access and Italian designer furniture.

There is an extensive onsite leisure club that provides all you need to wind down after a hard day's golfing. The gymnasium overlooks the 18 metre "beach effect" swimming pool and you can also unwind in the Jacuzzi, sauna or steam room. In addition, autumn 2006 sees the opening of a new spa facility with hydrotherapy pool, aromatherapy suite. A range of treatment rooms will also be opening in December 2007. The clubhouse bar and Defoy's Restaurant overlook the 9th and 18th greens with great views again available. The head chef and his team are constantly changing the menu making use of the finest Welsh ingredients.
