The Club de Golf Montanyà is located within the resort's boundaries, and is a course of incredible natural beauty, thanks to its situation within the Montseny Natural Park.
The course is carved through the mature woodland that covers the undulating landscape, and was formulated by Dave Thomas for its opening in 1989. The par 27 layout measures 6,642 yards from the tips, which is not particularly long by today's parallels, but Montanyà is a highly technical challenge that demands a good grasp of all the game's facets.
The elevated tees at Montanyà afford the visiting golfer splendid views down over the trees and the lakes which are interspersed throughout the park, and the golfing experience is as much testament to the surroundings as it is to the quality of Thomas' design.
