Nearby Golf Courses:

Carnoustie (45 minutes): There are three courses at Carnoustie Golf Links - The Championship, Burnside and Buddon. The Championship Course has hosted The Open Championship six times and is often described as Scotland's ultimate golfing Challenge. The course will once again host the world's greatest tournament in 2007. Whilst tough, the course design, ambience, sense of history and sheer quality of the course will make it a one of the most enjoyable tests of golf.

Drumoig Golf and Leisure Village (20 minutes): Drumoig Golf Course - Drumoig Golf Course was established in 1996 as a championship style golf course to accompany the Scottish National Golf Centre. Set in some of the most glorious Scottish scenery, playing Drumoig is an unforgettable adventure. It combines a number of natural features such as the old quarries surrounding the 5th and 13th greens and the specially created lochs forming boundaries to the 9th and 10th fairways.

Dukes Course St Andrews (10 minutes): The Duke's Course boasts a spectacular setting above St Andrews making it the only heathland course in the 'home of golf' and a refreshing alternative to the links courses. Carefully designed to complement the beautiful countryside and make the most of the stunning views over St Andrews. The course was ranked 84th in Golf World's 2002 list of the 100 best courses in the UK and Ireland.

Kingsbarns (15 minutes): Kingsbarns Golf Links was opened in 1999 and is a links course with views of the sea from almost every hole. Kingsbarns Golf Links is a tribute to the rich Scottish links heritage. Sir Michael Bonallack, Past Captain and Past Secretary of the Royal & Ancient said "Kingsbarns might well be one of the last true seaside links sites capable of development in Scotland. Mere words cannot convey just how extraordinary the place is. It must be seen to be believed. And once seen, it will never be forgotten". The course is a regular on the European Tour being one of the three courses that the Dunhill Championship is played over every year in October.

Ladybank (15 minutes): A heathland course of Championship status is set amongst heather, pine trees and silver birch. The course has held Open Championship Final Qualifying and is a challenge to relish with accuracy off the tee more important than length.

Monifieth (15 minutes):Renowned for two fantastic courses, the Medal Course and the Ashludie Course, it was no surprise that Monifieth was asked to be one of the Final Qualifying courses for the Carnoustie Open in 1999. Medal Course - The Medal Course is a natural heath/links course with a fair share of hazards including new deep riveted bunkers. The well grassed narrow running fairways, lush semi-rough, penal heavy rough and fast consistent greens will test any standard of golfer. Ashludie Course - The Ashludie Course offers a more compact, but still challenging test of golf where an accurate short game is essential.

Scotscraig (15 minutes): Scotscraig Golf Club is regularly used as a Final Qualifying course for The Open Championship. Well known for its firm, fast greens, Scotscraig, is an enjoyable course to play and widely known as one of Scotland's 'golfing gems'. Despite being a links golf course, there is a feel of a heathland to Scotscraig, with many more trees in evidence than on most links courses.

St. Andrews Links (1 minute): St. Andrews Links is the Home of Golf, where the game evolved and where the spirit and traditions of golf have been safeguarded for over six centuries. A place of global importance, the Links is managed by St Andrews Links Trust. The six golf courses at the Links, which include the Old Course, are open to all, as is the golf practice centre and the two clubhouses.

St. Andrews Bay (10 minutes): No visit to St Andrews Bay would be complete without a game of golf. With two magnificent courses that weave their way over the rolling landscape, an unforgettable experience awaits both the seasoned professional and the beginner alike. Devlin Course - The Devlin is the more challenging course of the two and was designed by Gene Sarazen and Bruce Devlin. Opened in July 2002, the course stretches over Kittock's Den and along the sweeping coastline. It provides a formidable test to every category of golfer with the breathtaking coastline an intrinsic feature of the layout. As you would expect from a 5* golf resort, St Andrews Bay features excellent off the course golfing facilities and is also an annual host to EuroPro Tour events.
