Golf Course

Marriott Dalmahoy has hosted The Solheim Cup and Scottish PGA Championship and is recognized as one of Scotland's Premier golfing resorts. There are two excellent courses on site, including the recently improved East Course, meandering around the lake and across the picturesque streams.

The East Course - The East is generally regarded as main course at Dalmahoy having hosted some of golf's most prestigious tournaments. It is more forgiving off the tee, however Braid's traditional deep bunkers and large, undulating greens make scoring a test on this old school parkland course. The course has recently completed a major £1million upgrade. The improvement to the course will enable Marriott Dalmahoy to host major professional golf tournaments in the future. The Charles Church Scottish Seniors Open will be staged at Dalmahoy in September 2006.

The West Course - The popular West Course is shorter than the East course and offers a different test of golf. Greater accuracy is required off the tee and in typical Braid fashion accuracy on approach shots is required to conquer its smaller green. It features a signature closing hole crossing over the Gogar Burn.
