Built by European Golf Design in association with Michael King, the golf course at Worsley Park provides an exciting challenge to all golfers. The golf course has been laid out utilising the natural contours of the terrain and bringing into play stunning water features. The greens and tees are all laid to USGA specifications ensuring that they are in excellent condition all year round. At 6,611 yards (par 71) from the back tees, this is a course that requires course management to achieve a successful score. In July 2004 Worsley Park hosted the European Challenge Tour (JJB Sports North West Challenge) for the first time which along with high profile events such as the Professional Footballer's Association Golf Classic and inaugural Sir Alex Ferguson Golf Classic, illustrating the course's growing reputation as one of the best golfing venues in the North of England.
