The Cheshire course which measures 6824 yards makes use of the true potential offered by its position in the Cheshire countryside. From the 18th tee you have a panoramic view of the Cheshire plain stretching out to the hills of the Welsh borders. The Nicklaus Course caters for golfers of every ability with a variety of tee options available. Described as a "thinking man's golf course" it incorporates several double option holes such as the 7th and 15th where players will have to choose from which of the two fairways to approach the green. The course offers a scenic, yet strategic test of golf, where position, more so than length, is required. The exciting dog leg 17th hole, demands an accurate tee shot to avoid the lake, and leads to an exciting and demanding finish, with the 18th giving a final opportunity for a birdie.

In addition to the two championship courses, Carden Park also features the Par 3 Azalea Course which is perfect for beginners. There is also a fine Golf School which consists of 13 covered teaching bays and extensive practice facilities for all areas of the game.
