Having recently undergone a massive £1.6million redevelopment, the new course at Sprowston Manor in Norwich is a fabulously modern course, in exclusive and luxurious parkland surroundings. The old course was completely replaced by the fantastic new one, which opened in mid 2003, although most of the mature trees were preserved. Now measuring 6527 yards from the Championship tees, the course features over seventy five bunkers - an average of over four per hole - splendid water features and championship standard greens. The design credits go to Ross McMurray, one of the foremost modern golf course architects, who is also responsible for the improvements at Celtic Manor, the 2010 Ryder Cup venue.
