The par 70, 18-hole championship golf course, with its lakes and rolling countryside, is challenging for the expert and exhilarating for the novice. The course is an absolute gem, occupying 157 acres in the shadows of the Welcombe Hills and the golf hotel.

It makes a spectacular setting for golfing breaks. From the back tees the course measures a deceptively long 6,288 yards. In 1998 the course was home to the European Seniors Tour Ryder Event.

Built in 1866 this imposing Jacobean style house is nestled in 157 acres of grounds, and provides Stratford upon Avon accommodation to visitors from all over the world. This country house hotel was acquired by Menzies Hotels in August 2003 and has since undergone a major refurbishment programme. The luxury Stratford hotels impressive lounge was once the Great Hall and has the original oak paneling, ornate mirrors, chandeliers and period furniture.

The massive marble fireplace has also been retained, providing an impressive focal point within our luxury, country house hotel's accommodation. The log fire is particularly welcoming in the winter months. In September 2004 our Trevelyan Restaurant was awarded a Rosette from the AA. The restaurant offers a seasonal changing menu of English and French dishes, and also has outstanding views over the hotels beautiful Italian gardens and water features.
