When he arrived on the site that is now the golf course at Glasson Country Club, designer Christy O'Connor Jnr was struck by the awesome natural beauty of the land as he looked over Lough Rae and Killenure Bay.

The now complete golf course has since earned a reputation as one of the most scenic in all of Ireland. One of the feature challenges is the signature 14th hole, a dramatic par-5 which sweeps around the trees and down towards the Killenure Bay. This spectacular course has been planned by O'Connor to reward good golf, but bad shots will be punished as they deserve. Both beautiful and challenging, Glasson is a real gem.
