England is bursting with great parkland golf courses and the south is no different. From Hampshire to Berkshire, and Oxfordshire to Wiltshire, there are many superb courses beautifully carved through the countryside many of which offer classic onsite English country house hotels. There are also some wonderful 4* venues like Marriott Meon Valley and Old Thorns that are within easy reach of London and are perfect for a golf weekend away with your partner or friends. The Hampshire coastline is brimming with courses as well, you can even visit the beach while you're there.

The south east of England offers superb golf break venues near London and the south coast. For a relaxing summer golf getaway, The Marston Hythe Imperial 4* is situated right on the beach and surrounded by great golf. The counties of Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall provide some fantastic golf break venues and are also amongst the most picturesque in the country.
