Whether you're a seasoned golfer or are new to the game of golf, at St Mellion in beautiful Cornwall you'll experience golfing at its best. Set in 450 acres of rolling countryside, yet only a stone's throw from Plymouth in Devon, St Mellion is undisputedly one of the finest golf resorts in the West Country - and indeed in the whole of the UK.

The Nicklaus Course officially opened in 1988 and was the first golf course to be designed by Jack Nicklaus in Europe. The classic qualities of a Nicklaus designed course of elevated tees, several water hazards and need course strategy are apparent throughout the 7,019 yard layout. Renowned as one of the UK's most spectator courses, many of the manicured fairways are lined by banks and the beautifully conditioned greens have been constructed to USGA specification that produce excellent playing surfaces all year round.

The Kernow Course was opened in 1976 and subsequently underwent significant improvements in 2009 and 2010. Despite being shorten than its illustrious neighbour it is considered one of the toughest tests of golf in Cornwall. This championship course has many holes that will test the best golfers. The final hole, which can only be reached with two great shots, measures over 450 yards. The 12th is another superb hole, an brilliant par 3, it requires a carry over a picturesque lake.
