The magnificent lakes which circle the distinctive De Vere Belton Woods Hotel reflect one of the country's most complete golf and leisure resorts. Taking its name from the adjacent Belton House, the hotel has been described as a golfer's paradise, boasting three top class courses. The two genuine championship courses at Belton Woods are the Lakes and Woodside which are each designed to provide very different and exciting golf. The 9th on the Lakes course is one of the longest holes in the country. Belton Woods was home of the Midland PGA Finals in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and it is recognised as one of the only PGA approved Championship golfing venues in the East Midlands.
