Currently standing as Europe's longest golf course, Rockliffe Hall is a formidable test from the back tees. However, thankfully in my case, with a range of tee positions available the course can be more than managable from the forward tees. With a design etched out by Marc Westenborg, of Vilamoura Old and Royal Birkdale fame, Rockliffe has been set off in its golfing journey by one of the finest in the business.

Mantained to the very highest standard, the golf course is a fantastic prospect throughout the year. Set within 300 acres of Northumberland countryside Rockliffe is the perfect place to get away from the office and enjoy your golf.

The five-star accommodations found at Rockliffe Hall are befitting of the impressive location. With a bespoke spa having opened in November 2009 those seeking some relaxation off the course can find solace in an extensive treatment list including massages, facials and many more. With a mere 61 bedrooms available for guests, Rockliffe has more of a boutique rather than mainstream feel to it.
