How do we get a time on the Old Course, St Andrews?

How do we get a time at Ballybunion?
Ballybunion is a very popular course in Ireland and therefore gets booked up early. It is best to apply for your tee-time at least one year in advance. Please speak to one of our tour consultants and they can apply on your behalf. We can also arrange tee-times through local hotels who have allocated time throughout the year.
How do we get a time at Muirfield?
Visitor Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays (excluding Public Holidays) with the 1st tee reserved for two balls and the 10th tee reserved for four balls.
How far in advance should we be booking our tee-times?
It is best to book as far in advance as you can. Most golf courses open their tee-time sheets in November of the previous year. We would advise you book at least six months in advance for premium courses.
Bookings
What deposits are required to book a tour?
A standard £30 per person non-refundable deposit will be required however a number of golf courses in both Scotland and Ireland require booking deposits, which could be anything from 10% - 100% of the green fee rate. Your tour consultant will make you aware of the deposit required.
Do you charge a supplement for credit cards?
A 2.5% charge is added for use with Credit Card. There is no charge for using a debit card.
Do I require handicap certificates?
The majority of courses we use do not require handicap certificates however certain courses do. Please ask your tour consultant for more information on this before booking your tour.
What is the dress code for golf courses in Scotland and Ireland?
Dress code is standard golf attire; most clubs will require golf shoes (some do specify soft spikes only) and collared shirts.
What happens if I need to cancel my tour?
If you cancel a tour you will automatically lose any deposits paid on your break. If full payment has been made and enough notice has been given, YourGolfBreaks.com will do their best to refund as much as is possible.
Can we book caddies or buggies for our tour?
Caddies and buggies can be booked at most courses in advance. Charges for caddies vary but start from £30 + tip. Buggies vary between £25 - £40 per buggy.
The packages that you advertise are not quite what I am looking for. Are you able to tailor your packages?
We can tailor any of our tours to suit your needs. The packages shown on the website are only samples to give you an idea of what we can do. Please contact us for more information.
What happens if we have non-golfers in the group?
When you have non-golfers traveling with you we can quote you for accommodation only. Please let your travel consultant know but please note we are not able to arrange any non-golfer only tours.
Is there a limit on group size?
There is no limit on group size but we would advise that larger groups plan well in advance to avoid disappointment.

What is the currency in Scotland/Ireland?
The currency in Scotland is the British pound (£) and in Ireland the Euro (€).
